New Lease - If you are starting a new lease you will be sent an email with your lease offer. This email will have links for you to pay your deposit and bond, and choose a payment method for your rent and invoices.

Existing Lease - If you are on a current lease and your agency is updating their payment methods, you will be sent an email informing you of the switch and asking you to select a new payment method for rent and invoices moving forward. This email will outline your payment method options and any bank fees associated with each method. 

There will be buttons in both of these emails for you to select your preferred payment.

Your agency will determine what payment methods are available to you and what bank fees are applicable to those payments (if any).

Choose a payment method from the email and click the button to setup that method. This will take you to the Tenant Portal, or app if you are on your phone.

1. Log into the OurTenant app

If you haven’t already downloaded it, you can download the Tenant App using the links below.

Note: You must be running the latest version of the Tenant App for the rent options to appear and sync correctly. 

2. Select the Payment Method from the Email

Once you select the payment method from your email, it will take you to the tenant portal (or app) and ask you to login if you aren’t logged in already.

If you’ve forgotten your password you can reset it on the link below the login section.

3. Enter Your Payment Details

The portal / app will ask you to enter your card or account details. It’s important you follow the instructions for accepted account and card types outlined in the links below. 

Note: Please keep in mind that your agency may not offer all three payment methods to you, depending on state requirements and agency preferences.

Once your payment method is all set up, don’t forget to cancel your old method of paying your rent - whether it be automatic payments, or direct debits.
